Mangaluru, Nov 27: After a car hit a motor bike at Kadri Shivbagh in the city on Sunday November 26 morning, bike rider, identified as Atmacharan Shetty (69), lost his life.
Shetty, it is gathered, was moving towards Eden Club to play tennis as per his routine, at 7 am on Sunday when tragedy struck. When Shetty reached Kadri Shivbagh, a car which came from ESI Hospital cross road and approached the point at high speed, knocked his motor bike down. Shetty, who sustained serious injuries to his head, died before he could be admitted into hospital.
Shetty was running a small business near Bunts Hostel. He stayed in an apartment near Jyothi Junction with his wife. Both his sons are in Mumbai.
A case stands registered in the city traffic (east) station. Investigation has been undertaken.
