Bengaluru: Inter-religious programme ‘Universal Harmony’ to be held on Dec 2

Bengaluru, Nov 30: In order to strengthen the good relationship between Christians and other religions of Karnataka Regional catholic Bishops’ Council – Commission for Ecumenism and Inter-religious Dialogue in association with laity of Bengaluru, Bengaluru Archdiocesan Commissions, all Christian denominations and all religions, will organise an inter-religious programme named ‘Universal Harmony’ on December 2 at St Joseph’s Indian High School grounds.

Religious leaders from all religions will be present. Delegates and leaders from all political parties also have been invited to propagate religious harmony among all people.

The primary goals and objectives of the programme are to promote secularism and foster inter-religious relationship among all.

The announcement of the programme was made at a press meet by Fr George Vincent Lobo, regional secretary, SCCs, Ecumenism, Inter-religious Dialogue, Bengaluru.
