Doordarshan Kendra Bengaluru, diocese to hold ‘Christa Namana’ on Dec 10

Mangaluru, Dec 8: "Christmas is an important Christian festival, which commomorates the birth of Jesus, the prince of peace. On this occasion Doordarshan Kendra Bengaluru (Chandana) in association with the diocese here on Sunday December 10 from 5.30 to 7.30 pm will organise a Christmas message, ‘Christa Namana’ at Father Muller Convention Hall, Kankanady, here. The event is an oriented cultural programme," announced Fr Onil D’Souza the programme coordinator at a press release on December 8.

"Archbishop of Bengaluru, Dr Bernard Moras will be the chief guest. Bishop of Mangaluru, Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Swami Jitakamanada of Ramakrishna Math, MLA Mangaluru South, J R Lobo, MLC and chief whip of Govt of Karnataka, Ivan D’Souza, police commissioner, Mangaluru, T R Suresh, commissioner of MCC, Nazir Mohammed will be the guests of honour."



"Director of Fr Muller Hospital, Mangaluru, Fr Richard Coelho and secretary of the diocesan pastoral parishad, M P Noronha will be the eminent guests."
