Mangaluru: Youth who kidnapped minor student arrested

Mangaluru, Dec 8: A youth, who happens to be a native of Tumakuru, has been arrested by Mulky police. He has been accused of kidnapping a minor girl from K S Rao Nagar within the limits of Mulky police station.

The arrested man is Keertiraj, resident of Gokula Exension, Tumakuru.

Keertiraj works for a private concern at Bengaluru. He had come to Lingappaiahkadu in K S Rao Nagar to visit his grandparents living there. He fell in love with the girl staying next door during this visit. On November 26, he took her away to places like Tumakuru and Mysuru where he sexually exploited her, before admitting her into a paying guest accommodation at Mysuru, Mulky police said.

In the meanwhile, a missing case was filed at Mulky station. The girl is a student of a college at Mulky. Mulky police, who took this case as a challenge, found her from Mysuru and arrested Keertiraj. The arrested youth was produced in court.
