Puttur, Jan 25: Pavitra (19), daughter of Nolme Kuhalappa Gowda, residing near Punchattaru in Kaniyoor village in the taluk ended her life on Wednesday January 24 by hanging.
Pavitra had studied till SSLC and had undergone tailoring training thereafter. Since some time, she was doing tailoring jobs at Punchattaru.
On Wednesday morning, when no one was at home, she used the veil of her churidar to hang herself from the wooden beam laid across the walls to support the roof. It is suspected that she would have been frustrated with life because of the fact that she was suffering from epilepsy.
On the basis of a complaint made by Kushalappa, Bellare police have registered a case.
