Bengaluru: BJP warns of dire consequences if Modi's programme is disrupted

Bengaluru, Jan 27: "Karnataka state government will have to face the fury of BJP, if the closing ceremony of 'Parivartana Yatra', which is slated to be held on February 4, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is disrupted," cautioned Muralidhar Rao, BJP state in-charge.

He was speaking to the reporters at the Palace grounds on Friday, January 26, after performing the 'Guddali Puja' through special puja and homa, for the preparations of the closing ceremony that is supposed to be held here.

Muralidhar also said, "In the Purana (mythology), during 'Sarpa Yajna', a snake by the name 'Takshaka' seeks the protection of Indra, in order to avoid being burnt in the yajna. However, the snake was taken 'Ahuti' (burnt) along with the throne of Indra by chanting mantras. Similarly, we have taken a pledge today to take 'Aahuti' (finish off) of those, who will create disturbance during the programme on February 4 by chanting the mantra 'Swaha'."

"Siddaramaiah and the government of Karnataka tried to disrupt the Parivartana Yatra, by calling bandh that was held on Thursday, January 25 at Mysuru, in which Amit Shah participated. The chief minister may create obstacles to the upcoming programme of the prime minister also. However, we are going to welcome Modi in such a manner that the whole country will be spellbound with our hospitality. We will not rest till Siddaramaiah is dethroned," fumed Muralidhar.

He urged the activists of the party by saying, "Congress government will definitely create disruptions during the closing ceremony of the 'Parivartana yatra' that is going to take place on February 4. Bus service will be stopped. Tyres will be burnt on the roads. However, activists of the BJP should not get frightened.

"We have to make the programme a grand success, even if means we have to walk a distance of 25 km, as it has happened in Ayodhya many years ago. Thereby we have to give a fitting answer to the Congress government which is trying to silence the opposition misusing its power."

    BJP is showing its true color that they know only terrorism. Before anything happens bjp people are saying that they will burn whole karnataka if Modi visit is disturbed. This means they have already planned to create disturbance in karnataka. However, i am sure that people of karnataka will not let these terrorists do what they did in Gujrat and what are they doing in UP. Security personnel of karnataka will take care of these terrorists.
