Madikeri: Strangers kidnap tourist in Kushalnagar

Madikeri, Feb 7: A person, resident of Kurikota village in the district of Kalburgi, who had come to Kodagu district with his friends on a tour, was kidnapped by four strangers at Kushalnagar.

Kailash and his friends Ganesh, Shivalinga, Siddapa, Babuarao and Anand arrived at Kodagu district for sightseeing on January 31. On February 3, they booked rooms at Carmel lodge of Kushalnagar and were returning to the lodge at 10 pm after having dinner.

When they were returning to the lodge, it is alleged that four people, who came in an Innova car, abducted Kailash as per the complaint registered by his friend Ganesh at Kushalnagar police station.

Kushalnagar police are conducting search operation to arrest the culprits.
