Mangaluru: Expert students shine at three-day NASA visit, bag prizes

Mangaluru, Apr 7: Students of Expert PU College who recently participated in a space camp organised by NASA at the US Space & Rocket Centre in Huntsville, Alabama, USA, have come out with flying colors bagging prizes for 'Best Mission' and 'Best in Trivia' during the camp.

A team of 55 students participated in the 3-day long residential programme which involved activities and interactive experiences designed to make the students learn and understand space exploration and the science behind it.

Ushaprabha N Nayak, vice-chairperson of Expert Group of Institutions and Ankush N Nayak, director (IT), led the group of students from both Valachil and Kodialbail campuses of the college.

The students also visited Stanford University, San Francisco, Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles, and Las Vegas among other sites in the US as part of a 15-day educational tour.
