Mangaluru: Well-known Daiva Patri commits suicide

Mangaluru, May 7: Ganesh Poojary (42) from Koyikude in Pakshikere near Haleangady in the talk hanged himself at his home on Saturday May 5.

Poojary was a regular Patri of Annapoorneshwari Daivasthana at Koyikude. He was a respected Daiva Patri at Pakshikere and surrounding areas.

It is said that he was suffering from financial constraints since sometime. Overwhelmed by economic problems, he would have killed himself, locals stated. A case about this incident was registered at Mulky police station.
