Mangalore, Sep 29:
The recent attack on churches has done harm to the dignity of the government. The impact can not be described, said Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa.

Addressing BJP party workers, here on Sunday, he said: “We are not Opposition party. We have a responsibility of bringing together all the communities. Party workers should not give scope for any untoward incidents. Some miscreants have hatched an organised plan to defame the government.”

“There is pro BJP atmosphere in the State for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. Party workers should get ready for the election,” he added.

State BJP President D V Sadananda Gowda, Home Minister Dr V S Acharya, MLA N Yogish Bhat and others were present.

The recent attacks on churches has done harm to the dignity of the Government "YES" Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa this had to happen as you have undermined the great unity of our minority Catholics. BJP Government thought that they could do things as they please and do away with.

Sorry, Chief Minister this is not a plan to defame the government but surely this is a plan to bring fear and hatred in the minority Christians just the same as it was done in Delhi (Babri Masjid) when the BJP was the ruling party.

After the BJP has come into power in the state we have been witnessing chaos and mayhem. The BJP's organized terror outfits in the state have unleashed ruthless attacks on minorities ...the list is endless and to top it all the party celebrated 100 days at the state expense inspite of the state coffers being empty. When i see things from a fair perpective its clear that congress government was by far and large a better party as its less evil than the BJP. The BJP is now revealing its other hidden agenda which is slowly turning Karnataka into a lawless land.

I think Mr.CM has realised that the Govt.is for the people, to the people and of the people, the false propoganda being used by BJP and its allies to create an atmosphere to gain political mileage is in no-way going to fetch them anything. Instead they will be abondoned. How any community can justify innocent killings and destroying their properties and vandalising their faith.Mr. CM do not let ur good work being overcomed by this bad elements in society. May god bless india

Congress is worried losing power forever played a major role in the communal violence. They are much worried about the BJP's development agenda, their popularity. So your party will suffer due to Congress & JD(S). Continue with your development work, people will elect you in future.

Dear CM, GOD knows who is behind the attacks. Opposition (Congress & JD(S) parties played much political role behind the attacks on churches in the name of Bajrang Dal only to pull the centres attention.

It's not easy when you have 2 political parties in the opposition, don't worry GOD will save BJP. It's really difficult when having dirty opposition Party like JD(S). Father -Son's ready for anything only for Power, but they are jobless now. People still support BJP, but your government should compensate for the losses incurred to the churches & make christians out of fear, should create confidence in them.

It has been my expectation that BJP has own agenda to expand its territory..This time they have done it so openly that even the leaders have felt the impact of attack on Christian minority. Unless BJP leaders show their concern to minority christians, it is difficult to convince the NRI in particular..

During Congress rule this never happened and it is shame that BJP leaders have not done enough to compensate and assure to Christians protection and fair rule and order..
