Mangalore, Sep 29: "Both the Congress and the JD(S) are sinking ships," ridiculed state BJP president D V Sadanand Gowda. He was speaking to reporters in the city on Sunday September 28.

Both the Congress and the JD(S) are facing the risk of being washed away in the flood of public opinion. To save themselves from this ignonimity, they have decided to embrace each other, he said. "The BJP will not be adversely affected by this marriage of convenience," he added.

Gowda stated further, that the Congress is mired in several problems and that the newly appointed state unit president will require not less than five years to solve them.
