M'lore: Capt Menezes Invited to 10th Cadwallader Memorial Lecture in London

Mangalore, Oct 1: Capt John Prasad Menezes, former president, Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and chief executive officer, Ericson and Richard (Karnataka), has been invited to participate in the 10th Cadwallader memorial lecture. The even is to be held on Wednesday October 1, at the International Maritime Headquarters (UN Shipping body) in London.
The topic for discussion is ‘Lawmaking and Implementation of International Shipping— Which Law do We Obey’. The chairman of the panel is Admiral Efthimios Mitropoulos, secretary general of IMO. Others on the panel include distinguished personalities from all over the world such as Dr Thomas Mensah, former presiding judge, International Tribunal Law of Sea, Hamburg.
The event has been organized by the London Shipping Law Centre. Capt Menezes left for London on Tuesday September 30.
