Mangalore: DK Congress to Host Cordial Meet for Religious Leaders on Oct 2

Mangalore, Oct 1: The Dakshina Kannada district Congress will organize a special cordial meet for various religious leaders on Thursday October 2, to mark Gandhi Jayanthi.
Addressing the media at Patrika Bhavan here on Tuesday September 30, MLA Ramanath Rai said the programme is being organized to uphold the values of Mahatma Gandhi in today’s society.
Rai added that Abusufyan Ibrahim Madani, Bajpe, Fr Denis D’Sa, administrator, Fr Muller’s Medical College, and Anant Ashranna, ‘Archaka’, Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple, will participate in the friendly meet.
The programme will start at 4 pm at labourers’ office near the Town Hall. Members and workers of district block Congress, and MLAs will participate in the meet. Congress leaders Moindin Bava, Harinath, and Vijaya Kumar Shetty were also present at the press conference.
