Mangalore: Newly-married Couple Lose Life in Accident near Kasargod

Mangalore, Oct 1: In a ghastly accident that occurred late night on Tuesday September 30, a newly-married couple lost their lives, after being crushed by a car.

Abubakker (29) and his wife Rashida (21) residing in Perumbala Kadavat in Nayanmarumoole near Kasargod were the unfortunate couple, who could not celebrate the first Eid-Ul-Fitr after their marriage.

The couple had prepared to celebrate the festival in a grand manner. They had visited the market area to buy new clothes. While returning, the motor bike in which the couple were travelling, hit another bike coming from the opposite direction. Due to this, both of them fell down and a car which was following them, moved on their bodies, it is reported.

The husband and wife, lying in a pool of blood, were taken to a hospital by the people immediately. They were declared to be brought dead. The Kasargod town police have registered a case and investigating.
