Mangalore: Fake Marks Card Racket - One Held in City

Mangalore, Oct 1: The policemen belonging to the District Crime Intelligence Bureau led by circle inspector Venkatesh Prasanna arrested a person who was selling fake marks cards, from near the Town Hall in the city, on the night of Tuesday September 30.

Nawaz (28) residing near Janardhan Bhajana Mandir, Kankanady in the city, was the arrested person. The DCIB policemen got information that he was selling fake diploma certificates near the Town Hall for Rs 6,000 each.

They have confiscated two mobile phones, fake certificates, scooter and cash amounting to Rs 3,500. The case has been handed over to the Bunder police station here. Investigation is on.
