Beltangady, Sep 9: B R Dodamani was conferred with best teacher award here on September 5 on the occasion of Teachers’ Day by Sri Dharmasthla Manjunatheshwara (SDM) Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya.

Dr K Balakrishna Bhat, senior doctor and retired principal was also felicitated on the occasion.

Dr G Shrinivas Acharya, principal of SDM Ayurveda College and Hospital Udupi, Dr Mamatha K V, medical superintendent, SDM Ayurveda hospital, Dr Muralidhar Ballal, administrative officer SDM Ayurveda medicine unit, Dr Niranjan Rao, head of post-graduate department, Dr Nagaraj S, Dr Suchetha Kumari, Dr Veerakumara K and pthers were present.

Dr Likitha D N and Dr Amala Jyothi started the program with a prayer. Dr Nagaraj S welcomed the gathering.
