Bantwal, Sep 9: ICYM Bambil unit organised ‘Teachers’ Day celebration on Sunday, September 9 at Bambil Church.
Around 20 teachers were part of the programme. Fr Johnson L Sequeira, parish priest Bambil, Flavy D’Souza, vice-president, parish pastoral council, Jokim D’Souza, secretary parish pastoral council, and Joy Crasta, ICYM president were the dignitaries of the programme.
Alwin Veigas welcomed the gathering. Fr Johnson L Sequeira addressed the gathering on the significance of Teachers’ Day. Fr Johnson L Sequeira, Flavy D’Souza, and Jokim D’Souza honoured all the teachers. All office bearers and parishioners were also the part of the programme. Alwin Veigas rendered the vote of thanks.
