Mangaluru: Fr Alwyn Sequeira’s Konkani Marian devotion CD released

Mangaluru, Sep 9: A new CD in Konkani titled ‘Dhee Maye Jezuk’ was released on Saturday, September 8 at St Anna Church Kelarai after the Nativity Feast Mass.

The CD Marian devotion, composed by Carmelite Priest Fr Alwyn Sequeira, was released by Monsignor Denis Moras Prabhu along with parish priest Fr Joseph Mascarenhas.

Lancy Sequeira, Alfred Bennis and Herald Monteiro and Lucy Rodrigues, vice-president and secretary of pastoral parish council, were present during the release of the CD.

 

 

 

Joel Pereira has provided the music. The CD contains hymns in praise of Mother Mary.

Fr Alwyn Sequeira is a well-known composer in Konkani and has many devotional CDs to his credit.

    Congratulations to Fr Alwyn Sequeira for bringing out one more CD- named, " Di Maye Jezuk" consisting of Marian Hymns. Fr Alwyn is a well known musician and he is known for his rich and original LYRICS. This CD will surely take us to Jesus. Thank you Fr Alwyn.
