Mangaluru, Sep 10: On the allegation of attempting to rape a minor girl, a youth was arrested from Yelathur Nelagudde by the police personnel of Mulky station on Sunday September 9.
The arrested accused happens to be Suman (20) from Nelagudde Yelathur. It is said that he had entered the house of a minor girl when she was alone at home, showed her blue film in his cellphone, and tried to force her to have sex with him.
The girl raised an alarm, at which the accused fled from the spot. Mulky police arrested the accused. They booked a case under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and produced him in court.
