Bantwal: ICYM Madanthyar hosts jolly Jingle Nite

Bantwal, Dec 29: Indian Catholic Youth Movement Madanthyar, on the occasion of Christmas and youth nite, organized Jingle Nite-2018 on Tuesday December 25, in the premises of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church Madanthyar.

The parish priest Fr Basil vas was present as president of the programme.

The programme was initiated by a grand procession from Madanthyar town with a tableau presentation, Nasik band, puppet shows and fire show. Vivek Vincent Pais, delivered a speech on birth of Christ. Fr Archibald Gonsalvaes was the main guest for Jingle Nite along with ICYM diocese director Fr Ronald Dsouza, ICYM Mangaluru diocese president Jaison Pereira, assistant priest of Madanthyar Fr Alwyn Dsouza and Fr Alwyn Dsouza, SJ, principal of S H PU college Fr Jerome Dsouza, Parish council vice president Ronald Sequera and secretary Leo Rodrigues were the other guests present on the dais.



The president of ICYM Madanthyar Ronson Veigas welcomed the gathering. The annual report was presented by the secretary of ICYM Madathyar.

Many cultural programmes were performed by various associations of the parish. The ninth Konkani drama written and directed by Tyson Dcunha and acted out by Tarne Kalakar Madanthyar 'Kon Konaso..?' was acted out at the end of the cultural programme. ICYM secretary Lavita Fernandes delivered the vote of thanks. The host of Nach Nara Nach Nari, Sweeny Dsouza hosted Jingle Nite 2018.
