Moodbidri: VHP, Ayyappa devotees protest, urge for president’s rule in Kerala

Moodbidri, Jan 3: VHP Moodbidri unit and the devotees of Ayyappa held protests in tahsildar’s office premises here opposing the entry of women in Shabarimale temple. The protesters urged for dismissal of Communist government in Kerala and enforce president’s rule there.

They alleged that Pinaryi Vijayan led government in Kerala was hurting religious sentiments and misusing police force. “It is a conspiracy by atheists,” they said. They submitted an appeal to the president of India through the tahsildar requesting to dismiss the current government in Kerala state.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bhajrang Dal Moodbidri unit president K Shama Hegde, VHP leaders Sudarshan, Somanath Kotian, Shanker Karkera, Manjunath Shetty, Harish M K, Suchetan Jain, Nagaraja Poojary, Amar Kote, Ayyappa devotees Prashanth Guruswamy, Deepak Guruswamy and others were present.
