Udupi, Jan 4: Special prayers were offered in Rutba of Juma Namaz on Friday in Sayyadeen Abubacker Siddik Jamia mosque, Malpe for the safe return of seven fishermen missing since the last twenty days.

Imam Moulana Imranulla Khan Mansori in his talk on human rights prayed that all the missing fishermen reach back home.

“We are brothers as human beings and should live sharing our joy and sorrows,” he said, requesting Muslim community members to join in protests in the leadership of Malpe fishermen’s association on January 6 urging for finding the missing fishermen.

“May the almighty give house people of missing fishermen enough strength to bear their absence and may the fishermen join us soon,” he prayed. Masjid secretary Payyara Ahmed said that Muslim community members have been called to join the protests on January 6.
