Bengaluru: Minister’s stenographer caught with Rs 25.76 lac cash is untraceable

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (RJP)

Bengaluru, Jan 7: The stenographer, who was caught carrying Rs 25.76 lac cash in a bag at one of the exits of the Vidhana Soudha on January 4, has reportedly been missing. His whereabouts are not known.

Mohan, the stenographer, has failed to appear before the investigating officer despite being summoned for questioning.

Mohan, who works in the office of Backward Classes Welfare Minister K Puttaranga Shetty, was detained by the police at the Vidhana Soudha west gate and had failed to produce documents to show the source of the money.

The investigating officer summoned Mohan for questioning at 11 am on Sunday, January 6, and waited until 2 pm. But Mohan did not turn up or return phone calls.

Police personnel were later sent to his house to summon him for questioning on Monday and to warn him of action if he again fails to do that, a senior officer said. It is not known if Mohan was found at his house.

Police are also checking his call detail records of the past few weeks to find out his callers.

Police were too not clever to realize when they let him go once, will never again appear to explain about existence of this money.Even I wouldnt.knowing the consequenses. But question is why did they let money take with him.?How foolish are they?Atleast they could hold back the money. Or money is bieng disappeared in between the police or in building?A million dollar question.

Might have finished him off to eliminate the trail of bribe. They dont want to take the risk of Mohan appearing before the investigating officer. If he confesses definitely some bigshots will be behind bars. Rather than losing one's source of income it is easier to get rid of small puppets like Mohan.

Your darling Modiji could not find even a single bidder for the worthless and useless Air India that has no economic or social justification to exists as a PSU; and you want to keep dreaming that he will somehow change the face of Indian babudom machinery in another 10 years!!

Stop casting Modi as a larger than life character. He is just another human being with a shrewd political acumen. He is neither a superman nor a batman.

If he was caught with the cash and did not reveal the source, then was the cash given back to him or has been ceased? Police lock someone with 10k rupees, and let go someone else with RS. 25 lakhs. Others to escape the country with 6 passports.

I am surprised by accuracy of Winston Churchill's statement about Indian politicians 75 years ago....

“Power will go to the hands of rascals, rogues, freebooters; all Indian leaders will be of low calibre & men of straw. They will have sweet tongues and silly hearts. They will fight amongst themselves for power and India will be lost in political squabbles.”

    -Winston Churchill about Indian politicians....
