Bantwal: Mother and son injured in accident while crossing road

Bantwal, Jan 7: A mother and son got injured while a bike collided with them while they were crossing road near Narayana Guru Circle of B C Road near here on Sunday, January 6.

Chandrakala (30), a resident of Veeranagara of Padil in the city of Mangaluru and her son Gagan (10) are the unfortunate people who got injured in the accident. While Chandrakala escaped with minor injuries, her son Gagan is seriously injured in the mishap.

Both are admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru. It is learnt that both the mother and son duo had come to visit Panolibail temple on a two wheeler. After visiting the temple, they had come to B C Road and parked their two wheeler and were crossing the road to go to a nearby shop while the bike hit them.

Bantwal traffic SI Manjula visited the spot and conducting the investigation.
