Beltangady: Youth from taluk dies in road accident at Hejjala Gate

Beltangady, Jan 9: Yogeesh (22), son of Shubhakar Poojary from Asatte in Marody village in the taluk breathed his last in an accident which happened on Tuesday January 8 morning on Bengaluru - Mysuru national highway.

Yogeesh had secured his engineering degree through Vivekananda College Puttur recently. He was a brilliant student. He had joined a private company in Bidadi Industrial Area near Bengaluru two weeks back for work. In the early morning on Tuesday, he was on his way to his company. While crossing the highway near Hejjala Gate, an unidentified vehicle travelling at high speed hit him.

Yogeesh, who suffered grievous injuries, died on the spot. His colleague, Chetan Kumar, filed a complaint at Bidadi police station.

Yogeesh is survived by parents and two brothers. His mortal remains were brought to his native place, Marody and funeral was performed.
