Mangalore: All Banks’ Christian Employees Association Organizes Annual Meet

Mangalore, Feb 2: The All Banks’ Christian Employees Association organized their annual meet on Sunday February 1, at St Sebastian’s Platinum Jubilee Hall, Bendore.

Diocesan Catholic Lawyers Guild president Melvyn P Noronha was the chief guest of the occasion. 

Noronha commended the effort of the Association in undertaking social welfare activities. 

Earlier, a thanksgiving Holy Mass was offered by St Sebastian assistant parish priest Fr Vincent Lobo.

Talented children of Association members who got highest marks in SSLC and PUC, diocesan catechism Class VII and SSLC, as well as national-level excellence in education and sports, were felicitated with mementoes during the stage programme.

The election for office-bearers was also held. Audy Rego of the State Bank of India personal banking branch and Marcel M D’Souza of the State Bank of India main branch, were elected as president and general secretary of the Association, respectively.  Syndicate Bank’s Delphine Pais was elected treasurer.

Various dance performances, western and Hindi hit songs, jokes, and games were held to entertain the gathering. Maccha Milar compered the programme.
