New Delhi, Mar 2: IPL 2019 isjust a month away now. Preparations for the tournament are on in full swing. All Indian international players will be available for participating in the high voltage tournament.
Let us have a look at the top five players who scored the highest runs in IPL season 2018. These batsmen will surely love to repeat their 2018 record. The first IPL match of 2019 season will be played between RCB and the CSK on March 23.

Rishabh Pant
Rishabh Pant has a great season in 2019. He scored 684 runs in 14 matches. He was only behind Kane Williamson who had scored 735 runs. Pant has also the name for scoring the highest individual score as an Indian player in the IPL. He made 128 runs against SRH. He is a player to watch for in the IPL as well as in the World Cup.
Surya Kumar Yadav
Another player to watch for in the upcoming IPL 2019 is Suryakumar Yadav. The Mumbai opener was the highest run scorer for his side ahead of players like Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma. Yadav scored a total of 512 runs in 14 matches at an average of 36.57 and with a strike rate of 133.33.
Virat Kohli
The Indian captain is another player to watch for in the upcoming IPL 2019. He scored more than 500 runs in the tournament and is likely to do better in this season of IPL. Virat was unable to take his team to the qualifiers as there was no support from other batsmen in the last season. Kohli made 530 runs at a strike rate of 139.11 and with an average of 48.18
Ambati Rayudu
Ambati Rayudu is another player to watch for in the upcoming IPL season. He is also a great prospect for India’s World Cup campaign in England. IPL is a very important tournament for Rayudu as it has given his international career a new lease of life. Rayudu did well in the recently concluded one day series against New Zealand. Rayudu made 602 runs in the IPL 2018 with an average of 43 and with a very impressive strike rate of 149.75.
K L Rahul
K L Rahul had a perfect season with the bat in IPL 2018. He is one of the most impressive players to watch out for. He almost took the KXIP into the playoffs single handed.
Rahul made 659 runs at a very impressive strike rate of 158.41 and with an average of 54.92. He also scored 6 fifties in the last season.
