Puttur, Feb 19: The inaugural of 'Vijaya Deeksha Abhiyan' organized by Congress party was held at the premises of Mayura Theratre here on Wednesday February 18.

Speaking after inaugurating the occasion, Jalaja Nayak, congress leader, accused both the BJP and Sangh Parivar of misleading the youngsters. They tend to mesmerize the youths by childishly claiming to uphold certain values and mislead them into 'Sriaram Sena', Bajrang Dal etc., she charged.

The youths get involved with many such incidents and emerge as criminals in course of time. The innocent people are imprisoned in several cases and ruin their future. It destroys the life of poor people in the name of politics, she said.

Good deeds can not be expected from an outfit which has owned the name of a demon called 'Bajrang'. The inhuman organization is always against God, insisted Congress leader M G Hegde, speaking on the occasion.

Bondala Jagannath Shetty, president, district youth Congress and Vinay Kumar Sorake, former MP, addressed the gathering.

MLA B Ramanath Rai presided over the function.

Hemanth Shetty, president of the Block Congress welcomed the gathering.

MLA M S Anand, B A Bawa, Manjunath Bhandary, Sudhakar Shetty, Muhammad Badruddin, Jeevan Bhandary, Mamata Gatti and Nellikatte Jagadish Shetty, participated at the function.

    Well said, BJP is misleading and ruining the life of our youth in the name of culture, which is nothing but the political gain for the said political party. Thousands of uneducated youths are drawn into such acts only to ruin their life in making them criminals. Hope sense will prevail someday and our youth will invest their energy in building a peaceful society.
