Mangalore: 'Mhataro Chorbela' Staged in Kinnigoli

Mangalore, May 6: ‘Mhataro Charbela’ a superhit Konkani drama by 'Comedy King' Francis Fernandes Cassia and directed by Joy Paladka was staged at Kinnigoli Church grounds on Monday May 5 evening. It was the 32nd show of this much-acclaimed comedy play.

The play was organized by ICYM Kinnigoli while it was sponsored by Rocky Pinto and Fly, proprietor of Pinto's Golden Castle, Kinnigoli. A stage function was held before the drama.

Fr Alfred Pinto, parish priest of Kinnigoli church, FR Melwyn Noronha, assistant parish priest of Kinnigoli, Walter Nandalike, CEO of Daijiworld Media Pvt Ltd.  Lionel Pinto, vice- president of the parish pastoral council were also present on dais.

 On this occasion   Ln Alwyn Patrao, district Governor of Lions Club and his wife, Roque Pinto, propritor of Pinto's Enterprises and his wife, Francis Fernandes Cassia were honoured for their contribution to the society in their chosene filed.

Avil Rao, president of ICYM welcomed the guests.  Aileen D'Costa proposed vote of thanks. Wilson Fernandes compered the programme. The drama was viewed and appriciated by nearly 1500 people.
