Mangalore, May 27: A housewife drowned in a tank in Konaje when washing her clothes, on Tuesday May 16.

Veena (24) from Vittal, who was married recently, had been to the house of her in laws in Pattori near Konaje. On Tuesday, she had gone to a tank in the village for washing the clothes.

In a complaint filed with the policemen, her husband Seetaram said, Veena fell into the tank after slipping and drowned. Konaje policemen have registered a case.
