Karkala: ‘The Shine’, Belman Jaycee week inaugurated

Karkala, Aug 27: “Organizations like Jaycee should not be limited to cultural activities alone. Instead they should play a role in the development of the society as well as personal growth of people. In addition, it should become a medium of informing humane values to society,” said Sandeep Kumar, national director of JCI.

Sandeep Kumar was speaking after inaugurating the Jaycee Week of JCI Belman on Saturday, August 24 at the auditorium of Belman government PU college.

The programme was presided over by Shwetha Subhash, president of Belman JCI unit.

Entrepreneur Shashidhar Shetty, Belman gram panchayat president Varija Salian, principal of the college Kishori B, head teacher of high school, Laxmi G, president of old students’ association Ganapathy Acharya, former president Jayant Rao P, programme director Satish Abbanadka, immediate past president Pradeep Acharya, president of junior jaycee Dikshith Devadiga, Subhash Kumar and Raviraj Shetty were present.

Secretary Sarita Dinesh rendered the vote of thanks. Kabaddi matches were organized for invited teams after the stage programme.
