Mangaluru, Sep 3: Indian Catholic Youth Movement, Cordel unit organised ‘Cordelcho Naspa Spardo’, Konkani dance competition for all the Cordel parishioners on Monday, September 2 at Frad Said Hall. The event began with inaugural programme at 2 pm. The members of ICYM lead the prayer service.

Fr Victor Machado, vicar of Cordel, assistant parish priest Fr Lawrence Cuthino, resident priest Fr Ashwin Cardosa, Loy Noronha and Sathurnine Monteiro, vice president and secretary of parish pastoral Council, Aronha Coelho, Suma and Snehith Lobo, the three judges of the event were present for the inaugural programme.

Reinald Lobo, Jasmine Fernandes and Franklin introduced the judges. Amruth Dcruz compered the programme.

The dance competition was conducted in 10 categories, and around 130 dancers participated in the event. It was fun filled event and was appreciated by judges and participants. The judges were facilitated as a token of gratitude with mementos for their valuable time and judgement. Anisha Dsouza, convenor of programme read the list of winners. Riyon Lobo compered the concluding ceremony.
