Shivamogga, Sep 4: As the Malnad area has been getting copious rainfall, Linganakki reservoir near Sagar in the district was filled to the brim and overflowed on Tuesday September 3.
The officials have therefore, raised the 11 crest gates of the reservoir and released 45,000 cusecs of water into River Sharavati.
With the release of abundant water into the river, world-famous Jog Falls has regained its past glory and has been providing a thrilling view to the visitors.
