Kundapur: Body of missing woman found from well

Kundapur, Sep 24: The body of a woman who had gone missing from Katbelthur near Hemmady in the taluk, was found from the well of her house after three days since the disappeared all of a sudden on Monday, September 23.

Search operation had earlier been conducted in this well but nothing was found then. This has come as a surprise.

Suneetha Acharya (39), wife of Manjunath Acharya, residing near Bhadra Mahakali temple road in Katbelthur had gone missing under mysterious circumstances after 11.30 pm on September 20. Her body was found on Monday.

A case of unnatural death was registered in Kundapur rural police station based on a complaint filed by Shythilya, son of the deceased. In his complaint, Shythilya said that his mother was suffering from backache since the last ten years and skin disease since the last five years for which she used to consume tablets. He suspected that his mother would have been fed up by these health problems and would have killed herself out of the depression she underwent.
