Mangalore: SAC Institute of Konkani Invites Applications for PG Diploma Course

Mangalore, Jul 18: The Institute of Konkani located at St Aloysius College (SAC) here, invited applications for admission to the two-year post graduate diploma studies in Konkani starting in September.
The eligibility criteria is a pass class Pre-university certificate. Subjects offered both in Kannada and Devanagari scripts are—Konkani history, literature, drama, and poetry in the first year, and Konkani folklore, literary criticism, linguists, comparative literature, and grammar, in the second year.
There will be an examination at the end of each year and also an opportunity to write a dissertation in lieu of the second year examination if the student so wishes.
Fee structure for the first year is Rs 810 and second year Rs 900 and for students residing abroad, it is Rs 4,000 for both years.
