Mangalore: PFI Condemns Incidents at Pandeshwar Katte, Police Lane Masjid

Mangalore, Jul 19: Popular Front of India (PFI) has condemned the incident of desecration of Idol of Shiva at Pandeshwar Katte and throwing of meat packet into the premises of Fauji Juma Masjid near Police Lane here by two unidentified miscreants on Friday July 17. The organization termed the incidents were masterminded by anti-social elements to disturb the peace in the society,

Following the incident of desecration of Shiva idol on Friday, some miscreants threw meat packet into Juma masjid. Abdul Hakeem of the masjid in a complaint to the Pandeshwar police has alleged that in a bid to create communal disturbance some miscreants have done this act. Police have registered a case and are investigation is on.

PFI president Anwar Sadath in a press release has complimented the police for bringing situation under control in these incidents with their timely intervention. These are acts to disturb the peace in the society as the holy month of Holy Ramzan is nearing, he alleged and added that such incidents have been occurring during this time in the past few years. PFI have urged to provide tight security and vigil as a precautionary measure in order to avert any untoward incidents.

PFI have also demanded to arrest the culprits behind the incidents immediately and take legal action.

    Mr.Anwar Sadath you are absolutly correct. There is a master mind behind this accident whose intension is to create communal disturbance amoung hindus & muslims. Police should give protection to all the holy places of worship.Whosoever behind this cruel intension must be punished. Thank you
