Citizens of Mysore and Bangalore thoroughly enjoy Hilarious Play, ‘Mhataro Chorbela’

Bangalore/Mysore, Jul 20: Francis Fernandes, Cascia, popularly known as ‘Comedy King’ and winner of ‘Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy Honourary Award’,  along with star artistes from Mumbai, presented their famous super hit Konkani comic play,  ‘Mhataro Chorbela’, at  Chowdaiah Memorial Hall in Bangalore on Sunday July 19 evening.  The 37th presentation of this hilarious drama was received with high appreciation by the house-full crowd. 



The Konkani Catholic Welfare Association from R T Nagar in the city honoured their past presidents, apart from releasing a souvenir on the occasion, to mark its tenth anniversary. Francis Fernandes Cascia thanked the organizers and the audience for their stupendous co-operation and especially conveyed regards to Lullus Cutinha for the wonderful arrangements.

This show will no doubt, linger for long, in the memories of the audience as they enjoyed every moment of the play.

On Saturday July 18, the 36th show of ‘Matharo Chorbela’ was presented at Maharaja College Centenary Hall, Mysore, under the banner of KCA Mysore. The programme commenced with a prayer by the priests. KCA Mysore honoured Francis Fernandes Cascia with the ‘Mysore Peta’.
