Bangalore Jul 23: The dreams of the Konkani-speaking Christians living in the city have finally come true. Henceforth, they can have at least one Konkani Mass every month. This has become possible because of the grace of the Almighty and the efforts of the executive committee of Konkani Samudai, Jayanagar, informed A S Almeida, president and Jerome D’Silva, secretary of Konkani Samudai, Jayanagar.
Konkani mass will be celebrated on the first Sunday of every month, from 9:45 am to 10:40 am, starting from August 2, 2009 at Christa Prabhaalaya Church, Jayanagar.
The executive Committee of Konkani Samudai, Jayanagar has requested and invited all the Konkani-speaking citizens of the city to attend the celebrations and also pass on this happy information to all their Konkani-speaking friends and relatives.
