B'lore: Mansi Yadav of Ryan International School Bags Prize in UNEP Painting Contest

: Mansi Yadav, a student of Class VIII of Ryan International School, Bannergatta, bagged the fifth prize in the 18th International Children’s Painting Competition on the environment for the Asia Pacific region.
 


This competition was conducted by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and 13 students of the school had participated in it and sent their paintings to the United Nations Regional office for Asia and the Pacific region in Bangkok, Thailand.
 
Mansi has been awarded a certificate; a t-shirt with the UNEP and United Nations symbol and also two informative books,’Your Plants Need You’, and ‘The Natural Fix’
