Mangaluru, Nov 9: A release from the district electoral officer said that all steps would be taken to end all kinds of public campaigning for the election for the city corporation council and bypoll - 2019 by 7 am on November 10.

The release stated that public campaigning has to end 48 years before the beginning of polling. Therefore, neither the political parties, candidates, nor others can undertake open campaigning after 7 am on November 10.

It further reminded the concerned that star campaigners and others who have been invited into the constituency should leave the jurisdictions of the urban local bodies mandatorily before 7 am on November 10.
