Mangaluru: Man going through depression ends life at Suratkal

Mangaluru, Nov 14: Shekhar Poojary (51), resident of Kattepuni House in Iddya village, Suratkal, ended his life on the night of Tuesday, November 12. He hanged himself from the rope tied to the rotary wheel of his well.

Shekhar and other family members had gone to bed after dinner on Tuesday. When others were asleep, Shekhar committed suicide, unknown to others in the house. The suicide came to light on Wednesday morning.

It is said that Shekhar was suffering from bouts of depression. A case of unnatural death in this respect was filed in Suratkal police station.
