Sullia, Nov 14: The bike rider lost his life and a lady sitting on the pillion suffered serious injuries in an accident which happened near Murroor in Jalsoor village in the taluk. The accident happened after a car hit the bike in question on Wednesday November 13.
The deceased was Babu Nair (56) from Muroor village. His wife, Shyalaja, suffered injuries in the accident.
The impact of the collision was high and both those seated on the motorbike got tossed to the road. Babu Nair, who sustained grievous injuries, died on the spot. Shyalaja stands admitted into a private hospital in the town for treatment, it is gathered.
Sullia police visited the spot, undertook scrutiny and registered a case.
