Mumbai, Jan 15: The ladies wing of Billavara Association celebrated Makara Sankramana under the leadership of president Jayanti V Ullal at Billava Bhavan, Santacruz east on Tuesday January 14.
Social worker Jyothi Deepak Desai, Chembur Karnataka Sangha High School teacher Mahesh Suvarna, social workers Geeta Narayana Salian, Kripa Bhojaraj Kulai, Sudha L V Ameen, Jayalaxmi Chandrashekar Poojary, Savita Gangadhar Poojary and Veena Dayanand Poojary were present as guests of honour. They lit the lamp and set in motion Sankranthi festival and Arasina Kumkuma programme.
Association office bearers were present. Ladies wing members of central office conducted a fashion show. Different local office female members performed cultural and entertainment programmes.
