Mangaluru, Jan 16: MLA U T Khader said, "Government should clarify people over NRC, CAA and NPR to avoid confusion.”

Addressing media here on Thursday, January 16, U T Khader said, "People are in confusion as they do not have clarity about NRC, CAA and NPR. When Asha representatives, Anganwadi workers, BLO's or any other officials visit houses, people are not ready to open their door thinking that the officials have come to register for NRC.

“So far it is not implemented in the state and officials are not sent for NRC registration and district administration should clear the confusion among people that no official has been appointed for the registration of NRC and also urge people to co-operate with any government officials during their house visits.

"Due to this confusion people are in panic mode. So it is better for the government to give clarity and there is need of creating awareness among the people at the gram panchayat level,” he said.
