Mangaluru, Jan 20: A couple of days back, a youth was manhandled by a gang inside a medical shop. A complaint relating to this incident has been filed in Kadri police station.
As per the complaint, Kishore and some others have been accused of attacking Walid Khan, who had visited the medical shop in question at Kankanady here on Friday night. Walid reportedly had come there to buy medicines.
When Walid Khan was turning back to return after buying medicines, his hand touched another customer of the said medical shop. On this pretext, the accused reportedly assaulted Walid Khan. The scene of this assault was recorded in the CCTV footage of the medical shop. This video is being widely circulated now through social websites.
Walid Khan, who was injured, stands admitted into a private hospital here. Kadri police who have registered a case, are investigating.
