Daijiworld, Feb 1: International cultural festival of India committee, ICFC hosted the 23rd international cultural conference at Berkely hotel auditorium, Thailand.

The Berkely Bangkok general manager Chavalit Kanjanasevi who presided, lit the lamp and inaugurated the programme. Tulukoota Thailand president Navin Roshan Pinto, social worker N P Suvarna Mumbai, Kannada Sangha Ottava Canada president Saikumar Ottava were on the dais.

Dr Ashok Badakali, K R Lakkar, Saroja Bakale, comedian Branda Srinivas, Manappa J Pattar were presented ‘International person of the luminary’ award and felicitated.

ICF India president Engineer Manjunath Sagar gave an introduction and wished that thousands of talents of Karnataka may showcase them at the conference.

Former president Vinay Rai Kadaba welcomed the gathering. Spoorthi H Shekar and Radha Vishwanathappa compered the programme. M B Kudari Gokak rendered the vote of thanks.

In the discussion forum on literacy and environment chaired by professor M B Kadari Gokak, Prabha N Suvarna Mumbai, Arif Harekala Mangaluru, Sakleshpur Manohar Madhu, journalist Rons Bantwal, Basavaraj Madhoor, M M Yeligar took part and expressed their opinions.

Noopura arts Davanagere artistes performed a classical dance, Rajarajeshwari Nrathya Kala Mandira Tumkur team under the direction of comedian Satyavati K R and Nratyabharati Trust team presented dances under the direction of G S Nagesh and Sriranjith Nagesh.
