Kaup, Feb 4: Things worth about Rs 20 lac were stolen from a factory manufacturing fish can tin by an employee of the concern recently.
The company which suffered loss due to this theft happens to be Kombat Industries at Uliyargoly which functions within Kaup police station limits. Suresh Poojary working as supervisor in the company came to the factory between 4 pm and 10 pm along with his friend Sunil D'souza. He is said to have come inside without any authorization between 4 pm and 10 pm posing threats to workers there and taking away various things worth Rs 19,92,460 including 364 fish cans and towels and other things.
On the basis of complaint filed by Vikas Bhat, director of Kombat Industries Kaup police have registered a case and are investigating further.
