Udupi, Feb 4: Bahujan Kranti Morcha convener Vaman Mishra has alleged nexus between Congress and BJP on tampering EVM machines to come to power.

Speaking at the Bahujan Kranti Morcha Parivartana Yatra held at Udupi on Tuesday, February 4, Mishra called EVM machines as the ‘mother’ of CAA, NRC and NPR and said the machines are dangerous.

“Congress made use of EVM machines to come to power. In 2013, Dr Subramanian Swamy filed a petition in Supreme Court to stop using EVM's in elections. After this incident, Congress and BJP made a secret arrangement and Congress allowed BJP to win elections with huge majority in 2014 as well as 2019. Supreme Court has given orders to stop using EVM in elections. CAA and NRC are against the Indian constitution. This is creating a Brahmanical superiority,” he said.

"Today, Muslims regard Congress as a secular party but Nehru was a big communal leader. In the first general elections, he gave tickets mostly to Brahmins. "Hindu" is not an Indian word. The terminology comes from Persian origin meaning slave. NRC should be done with DNA tests,” he added.

Hameed Azari, national president of Rashtriya Muslim Morcha said, "CAA, NRC and NPR are dividing people on basis of religion, caste and creed. We should fight to fail RSS ideology. We will not allow Narendra Modi to enforce this Act even in his 7 births. If anyone's blood is matching with India, then they are Indian. More than 60,000 Muslims have participated in freedom struggle and their names are on the India Gate. I challenge Modi and Amit Shah to find a single name of a freedom fighter who belonged to upper caste," he said.

Thousands of like-minded people took part in the programme.

Uday Kumar Tallur, Bahujan Kranti Morcha Udupi said, "We should build Udupi into an anti-RSS capital. Ambedkar is a national leader. SC/ST's are aboriginal people of India. There is a need to counter the RSS ideology in Udupi,” he said.

Nisha Meshram Yaseen Malpe, president Udupi district Muslim Okkuta, Sundar Master, Dalita Sangarsha Samiti, Shafi Bellare, state committee member PFI and others were present on the occasion.
