Mangaluru, Feb 5: Prof (Dr) U S Krishna Nayak, principal and dean, A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences and Consultant Orthodontist and director, Nayak’s Dental Speciality Clinic & Orthodontic Centre, Attavar was conferred upon the very prestigious - ‘Excellence in Dental Leadership Award 2020' held on February 1 at the first global outreach dental conference 2020.

The event that took place in Ahmedabad displayed highest standards of excellence in dental academics, research, innovation, development, clinical work and also Prof (Dr) U S Krishna Nayak's outstanding contributions to their dental profession.

Prof (Dr) U S Krishna Nayak was the past national president of the Indian Dental Association (IDA) and Indian Orthodontic Society as well as the chairman of the International College of Dentists (USA) among others. He has also been the recipient of the Karnataka State Kannada Rajyotsava Award.
