Bengaluru, Feb 5: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has welcomed the Union Government’s decision to set up Shri Rama Janma Bhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust on the guidelines of Supreme Court to oversee the construction of Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
“I personally and on behalf of the people of Karnataka, congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for announcing the formation of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Theertha Khshetra, the trust to facilitate the construction of a grand Sri Ram Temple at Ayodhya,’ he said.
In his statement released to the media, he said: ``By this historic decision to establish the Sri Ram Temple Trust thus facilitating the beginning of the construction of Sri Ram Temple, Modi has honoured the sentiments of billions of people not only in Bharat but also across the globe. Karnataka fully and totally stands by the Centre in this noble task.’’
